LOGO & ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS EXPLAINED
High Resolution True Vector: Best For Printing Purposes
.eps, .ai or .pdf files are a high resolution 'true vector' based drawings of the new logo. 'Encapsulated PostScript' Vector graphics or .eps for short and .ai 'Adobe Illustrator', are logos that have usually been created by a graphic designer using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. Colours are usually created in C,M,Y,K but can be PMS colour formatted files as well. Portable Document Files or .pdf for short, are a saved version of the higher resolution image which contain images and text, embedded fonts, hyperlinks, interactive buttons, and video. These 3 file formats .eps, .ai or .pdf are best intended for use as artwork for professional printing purposes like flags, banners and corflute signs. If you do not have any of these versions of your logo, please email or phone the graphic designer who made the logo and ask them to email it to you. Once received you can forward it to us and we can commence our artwork design examples for you. If it is not possible to get access to your 'true vector' logo, we have a vector logo re-design service available here at our company. Please see the link
Low Resolution Computer Files: Not Intended For Use In Large Size Printing
.jpg (joint photograph group files) are usually seen in the RGB colour format. These low resolution format files and have been extremely compressed for their intended use in web pages and office applications such as websites, Microsoft Word® and PowerPoint®.
.png (Portable Network Graphics) is a raster graphics file that are also RGB colour based images, but are featured on a transparent background. They are intended for us in web pages and office applications such as websites, Microsoft Word® and PowerPoint®.
Colour Matching: C,M,Y,K Colour Codes
Sometimes it is not possible to exactly match your logo's C,M,Y,K colours due to variances in printing on different surface substrates (ie. logos or corporate colors seen on backlit computer screens will differ to that seen printed on metal, paper, polyester or corflute materials). Small colour inconsistencies compared to other signage or advertising products from ours or other printing or signage companies can alter visual perception due to variances in printing supplies, lighting, substrate or other circumstances. Our guarantee to you, is that we will do our very best to get the C,M,Y,K colors as close as possible for you. If you can provide us with your corporate colour logo PMS or C,M,Y,K numerical color value from your company style guide, we will endeavour to print your products to the best colour match possible.
